Abstract:
This paper investigates advanced coatings that combine aesthetics with functionality using nanomaterials. Topics include photocatalytic titanium dioxide (TiO₂) coatings for self-cleaning facades, vanadium dioxide (VO₂) thermochromic films for dynamic solar control, and graphene-enhanced paints for electromagnetic shielding. Technical challenges like nanoparticle dispersion stability and durability under UV exposure are addressed.
